A College of IST visit is an hour-long experience that gives you the opportunity to connect with an IST recruitment staff to learn more about the college, its majors and exciting out-of-classroom experiences like internships and student engagement.
How will I connect with an IST recruiting staff member?
During your visit to the College of Information Sciences and Technology, which is located primarily at the Westgate Building at University Park, you will connect with a member of our recruiting staff. Please note that your on-campus IST experience may be in a hybrid format to include some virtual and on-campus meetings in our tech-enabled collaboration spaces.
Will I be able to connect with IST students?
Based on the time of year, the visit may also include the opportunity to meet with our IST Diplomats (current IST students) in-person the Westgate Building to learn more about their college experiences and student life at IST and Penn State.
During the academic year, students will not be available during holidays like Labor Day and Martin Luther King Day and other breaks during the academic calendar.
To provide you with the best experience possible, we encourage you to:
- Pair your IST visit with an Undergraduate Admissions information session or tour to learn more about Penn State and the admissions process.
