Career Exploration and Personality Assessment Tools

Can you answer the question "Who am I?" It's a question that will come up in nearly every interview, and it's critical that you can answer it honestly and confidently.

Career assessments and personality tests provide insight regarding personal strengths and weaknesses. Using these as reference points can help identify a career path that aligns with your goals and skills, guide your career planning, and prepare you for interviews.

Some companies have their own assessment tests that they ask potential candidates to complete. Taking a sample personality test will give you an idea of what to expect if you are asked to complete one during the interview process.

Review the tools below, and meet with a career coach in the Office of Career Solutions and Corporate Engagement to discuss how this information might be beneficial to you.

As you learn more about your personality, you should explore these additional resources that provide information about potential careers, salary information, critical skills, and more. IST's career coaches are here to help you through this exploration process.
