ACM RICHARD TAPIA CELEBRATION OF DIVERSITY IN COMPUTING (Sept. 18-21, 2019)

$2,000 per student. Sponsorship will cover travel, lodging, and conference registration costs.
The Tapia Conference brings together students, faculty, researchers, and professionals from all backgrounds to celebrate diversity in the computing industry, create community, share professional advice, and inspire through shared experiences.  The College of IST will send 10 students to Tapia 2019.

 
GRACE HOPPER CELEBRATION OF WOMEN IN COMPUTING (Oct. 1-4, 2019)

$2,000 per student. Sponsorship will cover travel, lodging, and conference registration costs.
The Grace Hopper Celebration is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists, which aims to support the careers, research, and professional growth of women in computing. The College of IST will send 16 students to GHC 2019.

 
WOMEN IN TECH EMPOWERMENT EXPO (Spring 2020)

$2,000 sponsorship
Celebrate the achievements of the strong community of women who currently work, teach, and learn in the College of IST, while welcoming newly admitted women students and their parents to the IST community.

 
TRAVELING LIONS ALTERNATIVE SPRING BREAK (Spring 2020)

$2,000 sponsorship
Traveling Lions is a brand new initiative that focuses on recruiting diverse students into the College of IST.  Current IST students will travel to communities within Pennsylvania to connect with high school students considering a major in technology.  They will share their Penn State IST experiences during the morning portion, and engage in meaningful professional development activities with industry partners and IST alumni in the evenings. 

 
CORPORATE ASSOCIATE PARTNER PROGRAM (annual)

The IST Corporate Associates Program provides an opportunity for companies to develop long-lasting, strategic partnerships with a college dedicated to educating the next generation of leaders for the digital 21st century.  IST’s Corporate Associates are a select group of government and industry partners who help chart the course for the college's future endeavors and take part in unique and rewarding opportunities to connect with our diverse student population.  Learn more about the different sponsorship tiers.
