Who: Students from the College of IST’s entrepreneurship and innovation, led by associate teaching professor Betsy Campbell.
What: The Nittany Lion mascot joined entrepreneurial students to demonstrate a machine learning visualization that enables users to communicate via gestures and body positions. The event showcased the work of the students and highlighted the importance of designing technologies for different body types and abilities. Event attendees had the opportunity to try the contactless interface that featured images of the Lion—who celebrated its 120th birthday on April 20.
