IST Open House: What IST@PENNSTATE Can Offer You
Open House offered an opportunity to learn about about the benefits that the College of IST can offer, including a 95 percent job placement rate and an average starting salary of $55,000.
Attendees found out about our two majors—Information Sciences and Technology and Security and Risk Analysis—and our curriculum that is designed to teach College of IST students about leadership, communication, teamwork, project management, and problem solving, just to name a few.
Attendees also heard from our alumni, who have gone on to careers as consultants, IT specialists, and data analysts at top companies, government organizations, and non-profits.
