- Interned with General Electric and AccuWeather
- Participated in Volunteers for IST Association (VISTA), a college service organization, along with other involvements on campus
- Received a PNC Technologies scholarship and an Evan Pugh Junior Scholar Award for Academic Excellence
- Developed FotoFrog, a digital media sharing service, as part of a group student research project
