Virtual Astronomy - IST Camp for Middle School Girls

IST is excited to announce its 3rd offering of the NSF-funded Worlds of Information Sciences and Technology camp for middle school girls. This year’s theme is "Virtual Astronomy.

2008 LGBTA Student Leadership Retreat

Date/Time: Friday, November 7, 2008, at 3 p.m. to Sunday, November 9, 2008, at 3 p.m.

Application Deadline: Monday, October 17, 2008, by 5 p.m.

The 2008 LGBTA Leadership Retreat is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students from all Penn State campuses to develop and hone leadership skills for their campus.

Students who attend the retreat will experience a variety of team building and leadership workshops designed to promote personal growth and communication.

This retreat will be especially beneficial for undergraduate students who are:
  • Interested in being future leaders in LGBTA communities,
  • Currently working with LGBTA groups, or are
  • Desiring to enhance their skills in relation to leading diverse communities.
