In addition to his appointment in IST, Lee holds a courtesy appointment with Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), www.cse.psu.edu. Lee is a member of the NIKE (Nittany Information, Knowledge and wEb) Research Group, nike.psu.edu, which studies various issues involving general management of information and knowledge and their applications in World Wide Web. The group explores subjects such as Conventional Database Research Agendas, XML Data Models and Schema/Query Languages, Web Analysis, Web Search, Semantic Web, Metadata Information Retrieval, Digital Library, Citation Analysis, Bibliometrics.Research and Teaching
Lee's research interests include conventional database research agendas, XML data models and schema/query languages, web analysis, web search, semantic web, metadata, information retrieval, digital library, bibliometrics, and cybermetrics.
