Connect with the IST Alumni Society

The IST Alumni Society is planning some exciting opportunities for you to stay connected, including:
  • Professional Conference Calls — Participate in discussions about professional development with top-level executives in the IT field.
  • i-Connect — The latest edition of IST's magazine will be mailed this summer. Keep up-to-date with what's happening at IST. Each issue has a different focus with new ideas, plans, and insights.
  • Join the Penn State Alumni Association — Visit the PSAA Member Center to find out more.
  • Help Fund the IST Alumni Society Matching Trustee Scholarship — This endowed scholarship will be awarded annually to an IST undergraduate student. Our fundraising goal is $50,000; currently have received almost $10,000 in pledges and gifts. You can donate online; please make sure to designate your gift or pledge to the "IST Alumni Society Scholarship."

Recent Events
  • Alumni v. Students Kickball Tournament (April 17, 2008) — More than 40 students and alumni participated in an action-packed night of kickball at the State College Area High School under the lights.
  • Alumni Mentor Breakfast (April 18, 2008) — Students and alumni enjoyed a tasty breakfast while networking at this event. For more information about the mentor program contact Pete Lechner.
  • Future Forum Alumni Society Ice Cream Social (April 18, 2008) — Future Forum attendees enjoyed Berkey Creamery ice cream served by alumni and learned more about the Alumni Society at our information table.
  • Alumni Society Board Meeting (April 18, 2008) — The past, present, and future of the IST Alumni Society were discussed in an open forum style, led by the IST Alumni Board.
